Man City vs Fulham predictions
Man City are the only side to win all three games of the opening fixtures in the Premier League this season.
With three wins, six goals and only one conceded they have already opened up a two point lead ahead of West Ham, Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal – the only sides to also go unbeaten.
Fulham won over Tottenham in the EFL Cup via penalties on Tuesday night while City have had a full week to rest from their win over Sheffield United.
Though they made it tougher than it needed to be with plenty of chances gone astray and that’s been fairly common so far as you’d usually expect them to score plenty more, even this early on in the campaign.
Though they did net three against Burnley in a very professional win on the opening game of the 23/24 season.
Now back at home they look like strong contenders to get a few more goals against a side who conceded three to Brentford and twice to Arsenal.
Man City vs Fulham betting tips
Erling Haaland to score 2+ goals – 9/5
Haaland was close to scoring a few against Sheffield United last weekend and can always bury a goal or two in any given game, and he will be looking to make the most of his chances this time out to make up for the missed chances at Bramall Lane.
Fulham have been susceptible to a few goals already and look prone to concede against a side that netted 94 last season.
Haaland netted a brace on the opening weekend against Burnley but hasn’t got another brace or hattrick yet, and it’s only a matter of time before he does.
City to win and a sending off – 7/2
Red cards have been more prevalent already this season than they have in previous years.
Fulham themselves have been given a red card in each of their last two Premier League games and they could easily be caught out against a side filled with players capable of drawing fouls and frustrating their opposition.
